Experience

I am more focused on creating music that is non-traditional and stems from the heart to touch a listener’s soul. Orchestration and harmony is very dear to my compositions. I have performed and collaborated internationally with many dignified international artists like Bhupen Hazarika, Salma Agha, Joy Sarkar, Vyom Kapoor from the reality show Chote Ustad, Roop Rekha from Fame Gurukul; the list moves on to our very own celebrated artists like Samina Chowdhury, Subir Nandi, Partha Barua, Robi Chowdhury, Tapan Chowdhury, Shahrin Shahriar and many others.

In the last twenty years, I have done a lot of live shows and studio works but very few for myself. In recent months, I have started to concentrate more on my own work in composing and singing my own music in the light of a brighter future. I went through a long hiatus of the past eight years from music due to other engagements but I knew I had to come back to music and singing and so here I am to present my work for your kind appreciation. I am humbled and inspired by an enormous appreciation from a handful number of music enthusiasts who inspire me every day with their beautiful words and gestures. I am Rajeeb Hussain, I am music inspired.
